Saffrony Institute of Technology & S.P.B. Patel Engineering College, Mehsana was established in 2006.

It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad.

The aim of the institute is to offer Professional Education, Research, Training and Consulting opportunities to various stakeholders of the society.

The trust in its noble endeavour to serve humanity through education, set up Saffrony Institute of Technology Campus comprising S. P. B. Patel Degree and Diploma Engineering Colleges, also offering Post Graduate and Doctoral Degrees in 2006. Both Institutions are approved by Government of Gujarat, affiliated to Gujarat Technological University and recognized by regulatory bodies like UGC and AICTE.

The college is set amidst 30 acre beautiful, lush green, tranquil surroundings located in North Gujarat, about 40 km from Ahmedabad and 14 km from Mehsana.
