Sadiq Memorial College of Education, Srinagar is run and managed under the ageis of a registered body called the Sadiq Memorial Educational Trust. The college was established in 2003-2004.

The college offeres five batches of B.Ed Course have already come out, having secured more than 75% Results in the examination, conducted by the University of Kashmir.

The college is affiliated to University of Kashmir and the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.

It is recognized by the Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir and is located next to the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura.

The College has three spacious buildings with picturesque surroundings and sprawling lawns which are very well-maintained. Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.
