Saaii College of Medical Science & Technology (SCMAT), Kanpur was established in 2002. Its affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University.

SCMAT believe in thinking Minds and virtual dimensions for our students. We believe that knowledge only based on books for gaining higher percentage do not lead towards shining future. Professionals having self belief, understanding, flexibility, & thirst for learning will develop into real Ratans or Gems for the Society. Saaii College of Medical Science and Technology, functioning under the aegis of Saaii Education & Research foundation, a registered educational society, under the Indian Society Registration act 1860 became academic ally functional on 9th Sep, 2002. Mr. Sonnjjay Mathur the Chairman of SCMAT, under his vision and guidance SCMAT prides itself in being the first institution offering professional Biomedical courses in Kanpur and eastern U.P. It's the first and the only private college to have the second feather into the cap of being approved as research centre by CSJM University, Kanpur. SCMAT has been recognized by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Approved by UGC , Affiliated to the CSJM (Chatrapati Sahuji Maharaj ) University, Kanpur and Approved by INC (Indian Nursing Council), and U.P. State Medical Faculty. Located on the main G.T. Road, at 25th Km Milestone from Kanpur with lush green, Pollution free, well equipped environment.

It is a first biomedical college. The college has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Recognized by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) and U. P State Medical Faculty and affiliated to the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, (Formely Kanpur University) Kanpur.

Saaii College of Medical Science & Technology prides itself in being the first institution offering regular professional courses such as Bachelor of Physiotherapy, B.Sc. Medical Microbiology, M. Sc Microbiology, B.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Sc. Biotechnology, B.Sc. Nursing, B.B.A and B.C.A in Kanpur and eastern Uttar Pradesh.
