S.S.P. (Sahu Shriyans Prasad) Jain Arts & Commerce College, Dhrangadhra was established in 1964 under the management of Halvad Dhrangadhra Education Society is the only Grant-in-Aid college in Dhrangadhra taluka of Surendranagar district.

It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956. It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade.

Dhrangadhra taluka is categorized as the economically and educationally backward area catering higher education to the students of surrounding 72 village students.

Dhrangadhra is geographically located at the bank of Little Desert of Kutchh (in Zalawad) and it is known in the colloquial terminology as the land of ‘Aaval baval and bordi’.

The college offers three years degree courses in Arts & Commerce stream & offers the two-year postgraduate course in Commerce stream under Saurashtra University, Rajkot. It also offers Career Oriented courses & Add-on courses.
