Shree Mangilal Sunderbai Gotawat Jain Educational Degree College, Bengaluru Urban was popularly known as S.M.S.G. Jain Arts & Commerce Degree College, Bengaluru Urban was established in 1950 managed by Shree H.S.Sangh (Jain Community).
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
It is affiliated to Bangalore University, Bengaluru and it is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).
The college is providing value based education enabling the students to compete with the enormous speed of globalization.
Shree Mangilal Sunderbai Gotawat Jain Degree College offers courses in Science, Commerce, Management and Computer Application. For every course, the college imparts practical training to its students that helps them to understand better, improve their demonstrative skills, eliminate hesitation and in this process strives to mold them into industry ready professionals.
The college also offers two years intermediate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce streams under Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka.
The diligent faculty team of the college possesses hands-on experience and up to date knowledge of their subject and area of expertise.
They aspire to start value added short term courses in Mass Communication, Journalism, Tourism, Computers, Marketing Management etc. and Post graduation courses.
