S.J.K. College, Kalanaur was established in 1971.

The town Kalanaur in District Rohtak is famous for their religious gurus and muths, popularly known as Tikanas.

In a long tradition of philanthropic works, SAT Jinda Kalyana College was established by the Tikana of the same name under the auspices of Mahant Shri Jamna Dass Ji.

The dedicated effort of his enlightened and socially aware followers helped to give this dream a particular shape and the S.J.K. Education Society was formed.

The college motto is ‘Vidya-Vivek-Vikas’. Vidya i.e. knowledge illuminates the path, showing the way to intellectual enlightenment and thus development.

The college aims to impart an education which not only teaches how to earn one’s livelihood but also how to live like a good human being who is kind, considerate, rational and with a good moral character. At S.J.K.C the emphasis is on inculcating restraint among youth.
