About Sha-Shib College of Science & Management, Bhopal
Sha-Shib College of Science & Management, Bhopal comes under the Sha-shib Group of Institutions which was established in 1997 and managed by Sha-shib Group and run by Institute of Management & Technologies.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.
The college is affiliated with Barkatullah University, Bhopal and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.
It is also recognized & approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi to offer B.Ed. course.
The aim of the college was to provide every student with a pleasant environment suitable to achieve their career goals with special importance in personality development and quality education in all sphere of activities without compromising on the quality and code of ethics.
It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Bhopal played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under the Barkatullah University, Bhopal.
The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management streams with various specializations and offers two years of postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce with various specializations under Barkatullah University, Bhopal. It also offers Postgraduate Diploma courses.
The college also offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled to a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Barkatullah University, Bhopal and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
The student can take admission those who has cleared the Shashib Scholarship and Aptitude Test Entrance Test with merit.
In the coming years, the society plans to set up a number of faculties like in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Medical, Engineering, Air hostess, Management, Polytechnic, Marine Courses etc. The campus is still under further construction to meet out the requirements ahead.

- The college has a library with a good number of books (both text and reference) on various subjects to meet the needs of the students as well as the teachers with reading room facility. Daily Newspapers and selected journals are also regularly subscribed
- State of the Art Laboratories with sufficient space and all the necessary equipment are made available to various departments
- The college has taken up the responsibility of imparting necessary, effective and practical education to the students so that they can reach great heights and attain maximum achievements in their life

- The college has a significant presence in the field of research. A number of major & minor research projects are awarded to the faculty members by the UGC and other bodies
- The college has a large playground with well-equipment for different sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton and so on
- A medical facility has been available in the college for the benefit of the students
- State Government and Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
- The institution has provided ICT facilities like computers, projectors, audio-visual gadgets, scanners and printers to the departments and also other aids and a huge number of availability of books for effective delivery of curriculum and for inculcating the knowledge of the subject
- A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
- To sharpen the skill of students and their personality development, various curricular and extra-curricular activities are the regular features of the institution
- The college Unit NSS Wing performs different type of social services within and outside of the area
- The college also organizes workshops, seminars, and conferences for improving teaching skills and methodology
