Sri Bala Siva Yogindra Maharaj (S.B.S.Y.M.) Degree College, Kasibugga was established in 1981.

The college is affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and accredited by NAAC.

The college is started with courses like B.A., B.Com., 60 in each group in the begining. Later B.Sc. M.P.C., C.B.Z., M.P.Cs., C.B.B.T. groups were introduced in our college. We have also NCC, NSS - 3 Units alongwith other Science Laboratories. We have also English Laboratory. At present we have 961 (Boys: 662 & Girls: 299) students. Our College was admitted into Grant-in-Aid w.e.f. 1.4.1992. We have good results regarding A.U. Examinations in B.A., B.Com., & B.Sc. Last year i.e., March 2008. We achieved good results for B.A., B.Com., & B.Sc. Best teaching faculty is available for all the subjects in our college. Our college is located in a rural area so our college is useful for the students belonging to palasa, Nandigam, Vajrapu Kotturu, Mandasa & other Mandals. We have also Jawahar Knowledge Centre & Infosys genesics training centres.
