RVS Institute of Management Studies & Research (RVS-IMSR), Coimbatore was established in 1994 under Rathinavel Subramaniam Educational Trust (RVSET) with objectives to create facilities for education, health care and upliftment of the poor and the downtrodden especially of rural regions. The Insitute is approved by AICTE and affliated to Bharathiar Univeristy. The Trust also runs RVS Engineering College, Polytechnic, Management Institute, Industrial Training Institute and College of Education at Dindugal and Bhakthavatsalam Vidyastram central board school and a Women's College at Korattur, Chennai.
