Its affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr M G R Medical University.

Mission of the RVS College of Nursing is to equip the undergraduate nurses with advanced concepts and skills to function as effective Clinical practitioners to promote, restore and maintain health and wellness of individuals, families and communities in a variety of health care settings. Also to develop competence to function at a leadership level in health care services, education and research.
