About Rufaida College of Nursing, Hamdard Nagar
Rufaida College of Nursing (RCN), New Delhi was established in 1994.
The institute is affiliated to Jamia Hamdard University and is recognized by the India Nursing Council (INC).
The Rufaida School of Nursing was part of Majeedia Hospital prior to the formation of the Faculty of Nursing.
The purpose of establishing the school was to contribute towards overcoming shortage of nurses in the country to some extent.
The aim of the school is to encourage girls from Muslim minority community and weaker sections of the society to take up this noble profession.
