Ravi Shankar College of Education, Satna was established in 2009 and managed under Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Lok Kalyan Trust (R), which was established in 2000.

It was a known name in the field of education in C.G. and M.P. founded by a great visionary and saint his holiness Anant Shri Ravi Shankar Maharajshri.

The college is affiliated with Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa. It is recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal & Govt. of Madhya Pradesh (M.P.) to offer B.Ed., & D.Ed. courses.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) courses for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled to a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college offers two years Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the graduation level. The college also offers two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or Elementary Teacher Training (E.T.T.) course for those who have completed their intermediate with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college/university under the affiliating university State Council of Educational Research Training (SCERT), Bhopal.

Students here are admitted who completed their intermediate from recognized college/university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the intermediate level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa, and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
