College of Education Roorkee was established in 2007.

The college is affiliated to the H.N.B Garwal University of Uttarakhand and approved by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE).

The College is co-educational and at present has a capacity of 100. The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course. Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.

The College has a well-stocked library possessing a rich collection of books and journals that cover the B.Ed syllabus as well as reference books in various subjects. A Variety of teaching and learning technique to impart knowledge and skills to student at College of Education Roorkee in its various department.
