Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (RIPS), Berhampur was established in 1986 by the erstwhile M/s. Roland Pharmaceuticals, a reputed small-scale pharma industry to promote pharmacy education.

The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

The college is also an ISO certified institute.

The college was the first P.G. Pharmacy Institute in India that was approved by AICTE.

The institute is also approved by the Govt. of Orissa.

RIPS envisions to emerge as a center of excellence in pharmacy education and research.
