Ramakrishna Institute of Moral and Spiritual Education (RIMSE), Mysuru a unit of Ramakrishna Ashrama was established in 1974.

RIMSE is a premier institution of higher education working in the field of Human Values for the last three decades & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to University of Mysore, Mysuru and it is recognized by National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE), Bengaluru.

RIMSE Institution is the result of untiring effort of late Srimath Swami Shambhavanandaji Maharaj, an eminent monk of the Ramakrishna Order. He was also very instrumental in establishing the Ramakrishna Vidyashala, a residential school program for the Boys.

Ramakrishna Institute of Moral and Spiritual Education (RIMSE) is a premier educational institution run by the Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysore which is a branch of the well-known Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, District Howrah, West Bengal.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

This is a residential college and only men students are admitted. Special training in Communicative English, Basics of Computer and Yoga are unique features of this B. Ed program.

RIMSE is located in a beautiful sprawling campus, rich with greenery and known for its pollution-free and serene environment.

The institution has given priority to teaching and learning process. It has created a better teaching and learning environment in the campus through improved infrastructural and human resources.
