Rashtriya College of Education, Rohtak was established in 2007 under the management of Harkishan Education Society (Regd.) under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.

Harkishan Education Society has been successfully running a senior secondary school affiliated to C.B.S.E, Delhi since 1987 and has been producing excellent board results year after year since its inception.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is at present affiliated with Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind formerly affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur.

The college aims to provide dynamic and professionally competent teachers who are equipped with the latest technology and innovative teaching methods.

The main objective is to train the pupil-teacher minds to think and act on their rather than to tread beaten track and to teach them the value of honesty, labor, undoubted integrity and absolute sincerity.

This will enable them to compete in the world with confidence and get adjusted without any problem. The college is committed to managing the quality standard of teacher education.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
