Rao Lal Singh (R.L.S.) College of Education, Sidhrawali was established in July 1974, to cherish the memory of Rao Lal Singh, a member of the legislative council in the united Punjab and the founder chairperson of the Haryana State Co-operative land Mortgage bank, Chandigarh.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
The college is run by an efficient management of the Rao Lal Singh Shiksha Parishad under the presidentship of a dynamic and versatile personality of Major Ashok Yadav.
The college is at present affiliated with Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind formerly affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur.
It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.80 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 21st February 2014.
The institution in the rural setting has been proved to be the pioneer in providing quality teacher education since its inception. It is one of the oldest and the only State Govt. Aided teacher education institute in the millennium city of Gurugram.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
The college also offers two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) course for those who have completed their intermediate with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college/university under the affiliating body State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Gurgaon.
Students here are admitted who completed their intermediate from recognized college/university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the intermediate level.
