Rao Birender Singh College of Education, Rewari is the premier and pioneering college of education, established in 1953, in the erstwhile Punjab.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

It is situated on the outskirts of the historic town of Rewari, since long known for the warriors and freedom fighters. Rewari has also come to enjoy the position of a centre of learning and global status in Politics, mainly through the untiring efforts of the descendants of Rao Tula Ram the legendary hero of the first war of independence, who dared to challenge the British might.

The college is affiliated to Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind formerly affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur.

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.64 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 25th June 2015.

Ever since its inception the college has been at the forefront in the field of quality Teacher Education and has produced over 30000 trained teachers and 1000 Teacher Educators under for sighted vision and Patronage of its Founder President, Hon'ble Rao Birender Singh, Ex-Chief Minister of Haryana and Former Union Minister Govt. of India.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college offers two years Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the graduation level.
