Ranaghat College, Nadia was established in 1950.

Its affiliated to University of Kalyani.

as an only institution of higher education in the area with the co-operation of locals. It traversed a long way successfully fulfilling the aspiration of many students.

After running a race of 58 years it has now become the pride of Nadia district with its magnificent buildinds, well-developed faculties of Humanities, Science and Commerce, various academic and extra-curricular facilities and brilliant academic result.

The College is affiliated to the University of Kalyani, Ranaghat College offers three undergraduate programmes leading to BA, BSc and BCom degrees.

The college is constructing three-storeyed Golden Jubilee building. Ranaghat College has been assessed and accredited by NAAC in 2007 and awarded B+ grade.
