Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Matri Bhavan School of Nursing, Kolkata was established in 2011. It is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and the West Bengal Nursing Council.

The aim of the institute is to serve the women and children from the low and middle socio-economic sections of the society, with Swami Vivekananda inspiration Shiva Jnane Jiva Seva.

The objective of the school is to minimize the maternal and infant mortality rate and to facilitate women empowerment.
