Rajarshi Shahu Law College came into existance in June 1972.

it is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur & now it is affiliated to Solapur University, Solapur.

At the outset, the college was running LL.B.-Three Years Degree Course and B.A.LL.B.- Five Years Degree Course very successfully.

The main aim which led to establish this institution was to provide high quality legal education to the needy and the rural poor people.After serving thirty-two years in the field of legal education, the institution has been accredited C+ by the NAAC, Bangalore in 2004.

To produce competent, committed, professional Law Graduates and to develop responsible citizens who will work as social Engineers in the emerging Indian society.
