Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology (RIT), Chennai was established in 2008. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University.
Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology ( An Autonomous Institution) is one of the best engineering colleges in Chennai and is part of Rajalakshmi Institutions, which has been synonymous with providing excellence in higher education to students for many years. Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology was established in 2008. RIT is accredited with highest grade of A++ by NAAC. RIT is affiliated with Anna University Chennai. It is one of theAICTE-Approved Colleges in Chennai, New Delhi, and also offers NBA-approved courses.
Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology is being established under the Aegis of SABARI FOUNDATION in the year 2008 and it is new entrant to the Rajalakshmi Group of Institutions being run since 1997.

Strong in academics: Consistently our students are producing minimum 85% of pass percentage in every academic year with sufficient number of University Ranks. Our Academic Performance record reveals the students' strength in theoretical and practical knowledge in their academics. 85% of students have graduated after the successful completion of four years
Faculty Members: faculty student ratio of 1:13 is maintained to deliver in depth knowledge; Good number of Doctorates among the faculty members in each department that assists the students to actively take part in Curricular and Cocurricular activities like research and development, participation in various national and international events organized by other institutes
Co-curriculars: Well stocked library with on line journals, 24X7 internet, Professional clubs and seminars help our students to win prizes in National Level Project and Paper presentation competitions. Some of our students got selected through their projects in companies like NEC, Systech etc
Value addition: To strengthen the students in their field current/recent technical and practical knowledge is added through Guest Lectures, In Plant Training, Industrial Visits,Internships and Industry Projects. Skill oriented training programs are organized to all the students through TCS, Wipro, Zoho, ICT Academy, BOSCH and MSME.
Skill enhancement: Soft skill and employability skills are enhanced through training camps. Students are of PLUG & PLAY type to deliver results from Day
Overall development: Campus atmosphere provides platform for overall development of students in academics, co & extra curriculars.
