Rajah RSRK Rangarao College, Bobbili was established in 1962.

The college is affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade.

Rajah R S R K Ranga Rao college is the result of the noble activity of his highness Sri Ravu Swetha Chalapathi Rama Krishna Ranga Rao Bahudur, the then Rajah of Bobbili and premier of Madras Combined State.  Glorifying the invaluable contribution of the Rajah Saheb, the people of Bobbili established this college in his name in 1962.

Ever since its establishment, the college had not faced any troubles and it did not take long to shoot to prominence after R V G K Ranga Rao Bahudur, the then Kumar Raja of Bobbili became the Chairman of the College Committee.  The college of Arts and Science established in the name of Raja varu sprung to higher level of learning when Sri R V Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao, Kumar Raja of Bobbili, sitting MLA of Bobbili Constituency shouldered the responsibilities of the college as the Correspondent.

The college is committed to imparting quality education for over four decades and has achieved total student satisfaction.  It is committed to cater to the needs of the innately potential rural youth of Bobbili and its surrounding areas.  Affiliated to the Andhra University, the college offers 16 under graduate courses in Commerce, Arts, Biology, Physics, Computer Science with various combinations and 4 post-graduate courses in Computer Science, Chemistry, English and Social work.

Students here hold a record of excellent results and university ranks.  The college has a highly competent teaching staff which helps the students reach out to higher goals and preempt other wards of the contemporary society.
