Rabindranath Tagore College of Education, Ranga Reddy was established in 2000. It is affiliated to of Osmania University.

Rabindranath Tagore College of Education is a self-financed and co-educational college approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for offering undergraduate level one year Bachelor of Education course.

Applicants, who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course. Admissions are processed on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Andhra Ed CET.

Candidates are shortlisted through counseling. Hence, counseling determines the final selection of the applicants.
