R. K. Talreja College of Arts, Science and Commerce (RKTCASC), Thane was established in 1967.

Its affiliated to University of Mumbai.

The college is formally known as Ulhasnagar Girls College and managed by Seva Sadan’s Trust.

The main aim of the college is to provide holistic education.  Thus, in addition to the regular academic programme, the college gives prominence to the development of personality, aesthetics and moral perspectives.

This provides an opportunity to prepare the young generation to assimilate our complex socio-cultural environment and face the challenges ahead of them.

The mission of the college is to educate, enlighten and empower students in general and girls in particular thereby developing their mental, physical and emotional dimensions in order to mobilize the available resources which are necessary for higher education and add to the existing one.
