R.K. College of Education, Gurgaon was established on 8th September 2007 under the management of R.K. Educational Trust.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is at present affiliated with Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind formerly affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur.

The college aim to produce educational, professional and entrepreneurs who embody the ideals of competence, quality consciousness, and human values. The institution renders quality education to the students by innovative teaching methodologies.

R.K. College of Education was established according to the provisions of NPE (National Policy on Education) to provide academic and resource support at the grass-roots level for the success of the various strategies and programs being undertaken in the areas of elementary and Education.

The college is a part of a larger strategy to achieve national goals in the areas of elementary and education and function according to the needs of individual states and districts.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
