About Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College
Pt J.N.M. Medical College, Raipur came in to existence in 1963.
Its affiliated to Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University.
The college received recognition from Medical Council of India in 1969.
MBBS seats were increased from 60 to 100 in the year 1976.
The college has applied for for increase in MBBS seats to 150 and awaiting for permission.P.G. courses were started in the year 1971-72.
At present the college admits 40 students per year for MD/MS and 24 students for two year diploma courses in the various departments.
The college has a 650 seated Auditorium besides the main building.
It is the venue for most of the scientific, social and cultural gatherings round the year due to its ample capacity and central location.
The library was started in the year 1963.There are 20000(approx.) books available in library and back volume of journal available 10000(approx.).Inside & out side reading room available for students. Internet facility available in library for students & staff.The college has 650 seated Auditorium besides the main building.

There are two girls hostel to accommodate 200 girl students and two boys hostel to accommodate 150 boys and one PG hostel.
