Pritilata Mahila Mahavidyalaya(PMM), Nadia was established in 1960.

It is a private and affiliated college. The college was started for the development of the local students to fulfill the need of qualified person in the region.

The college comes under the University of Kalyani, established in 1960 with a campus area of over 400 acres in Kalyani town. It caters mostly to the students of rural and back ward areas.
