Presentation College of Applied Sciences, Puthenvelikara, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, a Latin Catholic Minority institution is the maiden venture of the Diocese of Kottapuram towards the field of Higher Education. Most Rev. Dr.Francis Kallarakkal, former Bishop of Kottapuram presented this esteemed institution to society on 18th November 2002 with the primary objective of providing University Education for deserving students irrespective of caste and creed and for the Holistic education of youth towards an enlightened society. The inception of the institution was with two under graduate programmes in Microbiology and Biotechnology. The college has now grown into a premier institution offering nine undergraduate and five postgraduate programmes. This centre of higher learning has consistently been producing excellent results in the university examinations. Quite a few ranks have been bagged by our students ever since its inception adding feather after feather to the cap of the college.
