Pragyan College of Nursing (PCON), Bhopal was established in 2002.

The college is affliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal and to the Mahakoshal Nurses' Registration Council, Bhopal.

The Pragyan College of Nursing is an academic health institution. The College is recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC) Delhi.

The basic belief of the faculty of this college is to develop quality oriented graduate nurses to render their services in hospital, community, educational and research institutions and take up responsibilities in leadership positions.

The recent teaching methodology with the use of audio-visual equipment is adopted by the faculty of college during teaching learning activities.
