It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Tirunelveli.

The aim of the B.Ed College is to impart proper training as per norms and standards of National Council for Teacher Education, Bangalore and of the University of TNTEU, Chennai.

Great importance is given to buildup character to improve intelligence, aptitude, creativity, personality etc. through different psychological tests. Strict adherence to routine, rules and discipline of the college is essential for the satisfactory attainment of the objectives.

Ponjesly Charity Trust was founded in the year 1991. Shri. PON. ROBERT SINGH, a young dynamic, able administrator and an industrialist with visionary zeal founded Ponjesly Public Higher Secondary School in the year 2005. The main objective of the Trust has been focused on starting the Educational Institutions Schools, Engineering Colleges, Teacher Education Colleges, Medical Colleges, Law Colleges and Arts & Science Colleges to provide quality education to the entire student community at all levels.
