PMS Girls Degree College, Lucknow was established in 2004.

Its affiliated to Lucknow University.

Pioneer Montessori School society was founded through Prof. Puran Singh efforts. He holds 18 branches of Pioneer Montessori School / Inter College and 3 degree college to his credit.

The college is indeed lucky to have him as their head and is grateful to him for his valuable patronage, encouragement and guidance. He has the extreme goodness of always being there when they need him most. Later in February 2004, two more branches started their curriculum in degree at Vikas Nagar and Ruchi Khand Lucknow.

Both the branches have been affiliated to Lucknow University and run under the self-finance scheme. The college has been conducting under graduate studies in the faculty of science, offering subjects physics, chemistry, zoology, botany and mathematics.

Dr. S. Radha Krishnan once said “The aim of education is to turn out leaders of men” and that universities should inspire young men and women with noble ideas so that they may be ready to meet the call of nation.

With these objectives in mind history was taking shape in the eyes of Prof. Puran Singh who decided to open degree section in 2003 at lakhperabagh, Barabanki.
