With the noble intention of carrying the torch of learning to the people, particularly to those living in the rural areas and promoting higher education, the PMP trust was founded by the esteemed industralist and Educationist Dheiva Thiru. P.M.P.Pichai Chettiar in the year 1980.

Located at 6 Kms off the Dharmapuri - Salem Byepass, the congenial and well-developed college campus spreads over a sprawling 60 acres of land.

Under the able guidance and patronage of P.M.P.Pichai Chettiar - Chairperson, P.M.P Group with the able administration of P. Palaniappan, B.E-Secretary and well experienced principal, The college has developed excellent facilities and resources such as spacious classrooms, seminar halls, well-equipped laboratories, workshops, well-stocked libraries and well-qualified faculty.
