Pioneer D.Ed College, Rohtak was established in 2008 under the management of Gramin Utthan Education Society, Sanghi.

The college is affiliated to State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Gurgaon. It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur.

The college was set up with an objective of becoming a centre of excellence by developing high-quality teachers. The aim of the college is to impart proper training to the educated youth in the field of education and also to enable the prospective teacher to understand the nature, purpose, and spirit of Education.

The college also offers two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) course for those who have completed their intermediate with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college/university under the affiliating body State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Gurgaon.

Students here are admitted who completed their intermediate from recognized college/university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the intermediate level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

Various teaching and learning techniques are being used by the faculty to impart knowledge and skills to students at Pioneer D.Ed College, Rohtak in its various departments.
