PCTE Group of Institutes - Punjab College of Technical Education was established in the year 1999 by Management Education Trust. It began with approximately 110 students and three courses namely, MBA, BBA and BCA at Baddowal, Ludhiana now known as PCTE Campus 1. 2007 saw the opening of it' second campus at a distance of about 1 Kilometer from Ludhiana in Jhande, Known as PCTE Campus 2. PCTE Offers 17 Courses in 11 different faculties.

The integrated courses are collectively called PCTE Group of Institutes and has around 3100 students including international students from 55 countries.

It has been ranked amongst the best institutes in the three states of northen India by different media houses and organizations.
