Parul University is a Private University in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. It was established in 2009 as the Parul Group of Institutes, and was given university status in 2015.
Parul University is recognized by University Grants Commission, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and the National Board of Accreditation, an autonomous body of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Parul University came into being during April-2015 vide an Act of State Legislature viz., Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 and Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act, 2015 and has made long strides in the field of education in Gujarat. The fact that the University offers more than 160 different undergraduate , post graduate and doctoral degree programmes through 34 institutions across 21 wide ranging Faculties such as Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Homoeopathy, Ayurved, Management, Law, Fine Arts, Design, Arts, Commerce etc….is a testimony to the commitment of the University for expanding in the area of higher education and the dedication of all stakeholders in providing a package of best managed delivery system. The University is spread over a sprawling 150 acres accommodating 100 academic blocks . The state-of-the-art university infrastructure also house the modern laboratories required for teaching and research purposes. The campus also boasts of excellent facilities for co-curricular activities of the students such as playground, gymnasium, swimming pool etc…
There are about 28,000+ students studying in the University which reflects the popularity of the University among the student community. It is a constant endeavour of the University to achieve excellence in delivering different programmes. The University has carved a niche for itself in the field of providing placement to the graduating students. Special Units of the University such as the Entrepreneurship Development Cell, the Career Development Cell, the Training & Placement Cell ensure the overall personality development of the students.
The University attracts a number of foreign nationals because of its outstanding global reach. At present, there are about 1200+ international students from 49 countries pursuing full time degree programmes in the University. A special cell by name “ International Students Affairs Cell (ISAC)” is dedicated for admitting foreign students and also to monitor their progress in the university.
An International Relations Cell (IRC) is charged with the responsibility of conducting international student teacher exchange programmes in which students from abroad study in Parul University and students of Parul University are trained abroad.
In order to provide holistic medicare to the underprivileged sections of the society, the university has a 350 bedded multispeciality hospital. In addition, there are two ayurveda and homoeopathy hospitals each with a total capacity of 650 beds. AYUSH Hospitals of Parul University have the distinction of being accredited by NABH.
