Parimala Teacher Training Institute, Kovilpatti was established in 2008.

Its affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University.

It is managed under Sri K. Ramachandra Naidu Memorial Educational Trust, founded by an educationist and a social worker Dr. R. Kannan, M.A., B.Ed., D.Litt.

The Teacher Training Institute has a well built infrastructure and well equipped laboratories.

The purpose of starting the Education and Training Facilities is for the economically weak and linguistic minorities especially Telugu who form a substantial part of the demographic composition of the geographical area.
