Panampilly Memorial Govt. College was established in 1975.

Its affiliated to Calicut University.

Its  wholly owned and managed by the Government of Kerala. 

The college and its academic programs are affiliated to the University of Calicut.

The college is also recognized by the University Grants Commission and is accredited by NAAC, Bangalore at ‘B’ grade.
