B.N.N. College, Thane was established in 1996.

Its affiliated to University of Mumbai.

The college has successfully gone through the accreditation process and has been awarded B+ grade by NAAC.

Today, B.N.N. College has become a centre of academic attraction and excellence in the district of Thane with its conventional as well as professional courses.

It is one of the oldest colleges of Thane District.

The college was established to impart higher education particularly to Harijan, Adivasi & economically backward class students of Thane District and also to the students of Bhiwandi town. 

It is recognized by UGC under section 2f and 12B in the year 1972.

The college is active in conducting extension, extra-curricular and literary activities through various associations, clubs, NCC, NSS & NAEP, under the guidance of staff members.
