Padmashree Institute of Nursing (PION), Bangalore was established in 1994.

The college is affiliated to the Rajeev Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

The college as a part of Padmashree Charitable Trust.  Padmashree is committed to provide high quality teaching and learning for its students. The courses are rigorously scrutinized and reviewed both internally and externally to ensure they meet current educational and professional standards.

The faculty of Padmashree boasts an excellent employment record. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to the students in various departments. The college goal is to prepare nurses who are able function efficiently and effectively, as a member of health care team and who is qualified to meet the nursing needs of the people in the society.

Apart from the state of art educational complex the Institution have tie ups with reputed Hospitals to impart clinical training to the paramedical students and close links with the Biotech Companies / research institutes for providing training to the Biotech students.
