P.K.D. College of Education, Pollachi was established in 2006.

The College is managed under P.K.D. Educational Trust.

The College is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University Chennai.

The College got approval from NCTE and NOC from Tamilnadu State Government.

The College is located in a very calm, quiet and spacious environ that is conducive to learning in the friendly village of kurumbapalayam about 5 kms from Pollachi.
