Omega College of Education was established in 2003.

For offering one year under graduate level course Bachelor of Education.

The college is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University and also approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The teacher education course is designed for any graduate candidate from a recognized university.

The college is equipped with all the basic facilities. Candidates are admitted on the basis of marks they obtain in Andhra Ed CET. Counseling is conducted for the short-listed candidates, which determines the final selection of the applicants. The college has well equipped, airy and spacious class rooms with all modern facilities.

The institute has a finely maintained library with wide variety of books and journals. Various teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Omega College of Education, Prakasam in its various departments.
