The NRI Institute of Research and Technology, located at 4- Sijjan Singh Nagar, Opp. Patel Nagar, Raisen Road Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh State was established in the year 2008 Under Taramathi Education Society. The institute was extended approval by AICTE & PCI New Delhi, The Institute is affiliated to state Technical University Rajiv Gandhi Proudyougiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV Bhopal).

The main objective of the institution is to provide a prefect platform to the students in the field of Science and Technology applications for their academic and overall personality development. The Institute run the seven undergraduate (Electronic and Communication, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Pharmacy), Six post graduate Program (Machine Design Robotics, Electrical Power System (Part-time), Computer Science Engineering, Digital Communication, Building Construction Technology and Thermal), and Six Diploma Courses (Mechancal, Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Diploma in Pharmacy). NIRT is located in the centre of Bhopal. The Campus is spread over acres of beautiful green land. The institute has become on of the premier Engineering and Pharmacy Colleges in the state with an overall intake of 1148 students in various Diploma, Undergraduate and Post Graduate Courses.
