Nitte Rukmini Adyanthaya Memorial Polytechnic (NRAM), Udupi was established in 1982.
It is Affiliated to Board of Technical,Karnataka.
It was the first private polytechnic started in the undivided South Kanara district.
It is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.
NRAM Polytechnic is affiliated to the Board of Technical Examination, Bangalore. From 2001 the institution has been recognized as Govt. Aided institution.
The college has been managed by Nitte Education Trust.
