New Millennium College of Education, Cuddalore was established in 2004.

Its affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University.

The New Millennium Foundation Society consists of noble, well known and educated philanthropists. The Management is committed to excellence in education. The Institution is located on the outskirts of Cuddalore Town. It is near the village Kumarapettai about 5 Kms. away from Cuddalore.

The Institute bears the Motto towards building a new world. The shaping of the whole man, body, soul and mind shall be the ultimate aim of education imparted through this institution.

The Institute strives hard to impart value based on education aimed at the formation of the integral personality of the trainee.

With the willing co-operation of parents and the whole hearted support of the public, the institution has marched forward triumphantly in its noble endeavour for the past one decade.

The New Millennium Foundation Society was established in 24th of March, 2000 with the aim of catering to the educational needs of the entire population of Tamilnadu in general and Cuddalore District in particular.

The College of Education was conceived of as early as April 2004 under the patron wing of the New Millennium Foundation Society with the goal of fulfilling a long-felt need-of training teachers at the Secondary and Higher Secondary levels.

The College of Education was granted recognition by the NCTE for an intake of 100 students for co-education and it is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.

The NEW MILLENNIUM Teacher Training Institute was granted recognition by the NCTE No.APSO_1152/F.TN/958/SRO/NCTE/2003-04/1390 Dt. 25.02.04 and No. F.SRO/NCTE/TN-AI/2004-05/9267 Dt. 10.12.2004 for an intake of 100 students for Co-Education and it is affiliated to SCERT.

B.Ed

The NEW MILLENNIUM COLLEGE of Education was conceived of as early as April 2004 under the patron wing of the NEW MILLENNIUM Foundation Society with the goal of fulfilling a long-felt need of training teachers at the Secondary and Higher Secondart Levels.

The College of Education was granted recognition by the NCTE No. APSO_3612. F.TN/SEC/SRO/NCTE/2005-2006/3769, Dt 02.11.2005 and F.TN/SEC/SRO/NCTE/2005-2006/4096, Dt. 21.11.2005 and No. F.SRO/NCTE/APSO-3612/B.Ed/TN/2014-15/64701, Dt. 14.05.2015, for an intake of 100 students for co-education and it is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai TNTEUR/R/Affln./Syn-May2015-Item No.37.3/2015/940 Dt. 02.06.2015. The "No Objection Certificate" was granted by the Tamilnadu Government NOC No. G.O. (Ms). No. 520, Dt. 19.12.2005.

The classes for the first set were started on 24.11.2005.
