Netaji Subhas Mahavidyalaya(NSM), Haldibari was established in 1985.

The objective of the College is to create and sustain an academic environment conducive to academic and professional excellence and provide value- based education to the inspired students.

It is nearly 21 km East of Jalpaiguri Town while on the other side it is just 7 km from Indo-Bangladesh border.

The college is recognized by the UGC under 2(f) & 12(b) and is well equipped with all modern facilities.

The college is affiliated to the North Bengal University, established in 1962 with a goal to disseminate knowledge to fulfill growing socio-economic and technical manpower needs in the six North Bengal districts.

This was the first university in the region and has played a pioneering role since inception in spreading higher education.
