Netaji Institute of Engineering & Technology, Nalgonda was eastablished in 2004.

 It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad and approved by All Indi Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Netaji, the esteemed Institution for Engineering & Technology came into existence in the auspicious year 2004. It was an offspring of Lord Grace Educational Society, which had been running successfully under the able and wise guidance and supervision of noble academicians.

The college was established with four streams namely ECE,EEE,CSE and ME with 60 seats each in 2004-05. In the first year of its calender, it had an initial strength of 150 students. In the very next year 2005-06, ME was replaced with IT branch in 2006-07. Subsequently, it got permission for MBA and MCA with an intake of 60 enrolments each. The next year 2007-08 ECE,CSE,IT branches were enhanced with 120 seats each.

In 2012-13 it got permission for CIVIL with an intake of 60 and in the very next year it got the permission for MECH with an intake of 60.

Netaji has spread its wings into M.Tech courses. The group has been established and affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad since 2010-11 with VLSI branch, an intake of 16 students initially. In the very next year 2011-12, Web Technologies and Embedded Systems branches have been included with an intake of 18, 24 students respectively. In 2012-13 it got permission for one more branch CSE with an intake of 24 students. It has been running successfully for creating master minds.

The College was approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated to JNT University, Hyderabad.
