Neelagiri Degree College, Nalgonda established in 2002.

The college is managed under the aegis of Neelagiri Educational Society. Neelagiri Degree College is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. Over the years Neelagiri Degree College made rapid strides installed a high degree of trust and confidence in the student community and got established as a trend setter for quality of Education, starting with a humble strength of 11 students and now attaining strength nearly 1500 for their sojourn in the path of progress. Qualified and experienced faculty members are working in all the branches of Sciences, Commerce and Arts. Sri. Maram Nagender Reddy is the principal of the College and under his dynamic, able leadership and guidance, the institution is functioning with right phase of progress. Neelagiri Educational Society is now in the forefront of premier educational institutions in the state of Andhra Pradesh and one amongst the top private colleges in Nalgonda Dist. The academic polices of the institution are well conceived and offers various courses at Degree level at Nalgonda town in Nalgonda Dist.
Neelagiri Educational Society was registered in 2001. The founders of Neelagiri with their extensive advanced educational qualification have dedicated their knowledge and expertise in providing best education to the students. The Management assists every eligible graduating student in securing positions in leading companies, corporation and also for Government Jobs.
Neelagiri stands proud and tall, among its class of colleges in the district in terms of its infrastructural facilities. College was with adequate parking and circulating space. centrally located in prime business and commercial neighbors hoods, they are oases of calm and quiet, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of city life.

Neelagiri classrooms are spacious, airy and well ventilated. All the rooms, including laboratories and seminar halls, have been designed and constructed according to the stringent norms of Osmania University & Mahatma Gandhi University.

It is in recognition of this excellent accommodation that the University has chosen Neelagiri as an official examination centre. Further testimony to the infrastructural strength of Neelagiri is borne by its designation as an official centre for various State and Central Government tests such as EAMCET. ICET, TTC, B.Ed APPSC and RRB. Group I, Group II, Group IV and also examination of other universities.
