About Bharathiar University : Bharathiar University is a state University in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. Named after poet Subramania Bharathiar, the university was establish in February 1982 under the provision of Bharathiar University Act 1981 and was recognised by university grant commission (UGC) in 1985.
