About Navyug Arts and Commerce College
Navyug Arts and Commerce College, Jabalpur was established in 1962 by the untiring efforts and missionary zeal of its founder Principal, Professor Ramesh Chandra Choubey and managed by Navyug Education Society (R).
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
The college is affiliated with Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.
It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (in 3rd Cycle) on 10th September 2014.
The aim of the college was to made students positions in various competitions at the national level through different fields like education, sports, arts, literature etc.
It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Jabalpur played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of education, sports, and curricular activities understand Durgavati University, Jabalpur. It is also ISO-9001: 2008 Certified college.
The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts, Science, and Commerce streams with various specializations and offers two years of a postgraduate course in Arts, Science, and Commerce with various specializations under Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur.
It also offers Computer and Education courses to the students.
University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur and various other examinations are held in the college premises.

- The college has a significant presence in the field of research. A number of major & minor research projects are awarded to the faculty members by the UGC and other bodies
- The college has established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to assure the quality of the college and also details regarding submission of Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQAR) to NAAC annually
- The college has a large playground with well-equipment for different sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton and so on
- A medical facility has been available in the college for the benefit of the students
- State Government and Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
- The institution has provided ICT facilities like computers, projectors, audio-visual gadgets, scanners and printers to the departments and also other aids and a huge number of availability of books for effective delivery of curriculum and for inculcating the knowledge of the subject
- A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
- To sharpen the skill of students and their personality development, various curricular and extra-curricular activities are the regular features of the institution
- The college also organizes workshops, seminars, and conferences for improving teaching skills and methodology
- The college consists Women Cell to help female students. This cell helps and guides girls to sort out from their personal problem and avoid them from any harassment
